Getting locked out of your own home is one of those problems that always seems to happen at the worst possible moment — rushing out the door, juggling groceries, or coming home late after the bars and restaurants have closed. We built our home lockout service around that reality: a real person answers, a technician is dispatched immediately, and we use non-destructive entry techniques on the vast majority of calls, so your door and hardware look exactly the same after we leave as they did before you got locked out.

Our mobile units carry a full range of pick sets, bypass tools, and lock-specific equipment for the deadbolts, knob locks, and lever sets common throughout Jacksonville-area homes — from older pin-tumbler hardware in historic neighborhoods to newer high-security cylinders in master-planned communities. In almost every case we can open the door without drilling or replacing anything, which keeps the visit fast and the cost predictable.

Signs You Need This Service

You're standing outside with no spare key in reach

Kids or pets are locked inside and you're locked out
A key was lost, stolen, or left inside the house

How It Works

You call or text

Tell us your address and a bit about the lock — knob, deadbolt, lever, smart lock — so the technician arrives prepared.

Fast dispatch

The nearest available mobile unit is routed to you, typically arriving within 15–30 minutes depending on location.

ID verification

For everyone's safety we'll confirm you're the resident or authorized occupant before opening any lock.

Non-destructive entry

We use picking, bypass, or decoding tools matched to your specific hardware — drilling is a last resort, not a first move.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the large majority of home lockouts, no. We use picking and bypass techniques first and reserve drilling for locks that are damaged, defective, or a security type that genuinely requires it — and we'll always explain why before doing it.
We ask for ID matching the address, or another reasonable way to confirm you're authorized — utility bill, lease, a neighbor who can vouch for you, etc. It adds a couple of minutes but protects everyone.
If the cylinder itself is damaged we'll let you know on-site and quote replacement or repair separately — that's common with older or weather-worn hardware.

What Affects Pricing

  • Time of day — standard hours vs. late night or holiday response
  • Lock type and security grade — a basic knob lock vs. a high-security deadbolt
  • Door condition — warped doors or misaligned strike plates can add time
  • Distance from our service area's center

We quote a clear price range over the phone before dispatching, and confirm the final price on-site before any work begins.
